In recent years, there have been exciting new hotel openings in Munich. In 2024, guests in Munich will also have a new choice - from exclusive luxury accommodation to design flats.
The new building on Karlsplatz, constructed by Spanish architectural firm Nieto Sobejano, will house a Marriott hotel. The *****hotel will be completed by the middle of 2024, offering 108 rooms and suites and, of course, a rooftop restaurant and bar that will allow a great view over Munich's city center.

The first Rosewood Hotel in Munich opened its doors in 2023. It is the seventh property of the US luxury hotel group in Europe. Scandic continues its expansion course in Germany and opened the first Scandic Hotel in Munich in 2021. The 4* hotel with 234 rooms, a restaurant and a rooftop bar with a view of the Alps is located in the new office and commercial area "Macherei" in the east of Munich - with loft offices, co-working space, gastronomy and conference areas. Munich-born New York architect Matthias Hollwich has created the hotel's design, making it an eye-catcher in the “Macherei”: 10 storeys in the design of stacked and interlocking cardboard boxes that perfectly match the brick look of the “Macherei”.

There is also an event and meeting location on the fifth floor of the building with a great view of the towers of the Frauenkirche.
