A small village in the middle of Munich city

Haidhausen

Pariser Platz, Orleansplatz, Sedanstrasse and Bordeauxplatz are some of most popular streets of Munich quarter Haidhausen. You could almost think you were in France. The symmetrically designed squares and idyllic streets in Munich Haidhausen are reminiscent of the Franco-Prussian War, and are the reason why the quarter is also called the Munich French Quarter. Between the sophisticated big city flair, Haidhausen also shows its village character - with church, taverns and Maibaum, as it should be in Bavaria.
