The world of music will be marked by the memorial year in honour of the composer Carl Orff, whose 125th birthday is being celebrated in 2020. The opening of MOTORWORLD Munich, a unique venue with automotive flair, and the AMERON Hotel Motorworld is planned for 2020. The Science Congress Center Munich on the TUM Campus Garching is expected to be available as a new event location from the beginning of 2020. The new congress centre is the central element of "Galileo – Neue Mitte Garching" located right next to the Garching-Forschungszentrum underground station.

CIRSE stands for the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe, founded in 1985, which will hold its annual congress in Munich from 12-16 September, 2020. With over 7,000 on-site visitors and over 1,250 online participants, the congress is considered the leading platform for minimally invasive therapies.
