The Pink Christmas in Munich's Glockenbachviertel was brought to life by the queer community and is now one of the most popular Christmas markets in the city.
You really can't miss the Pink Christmas market at Stephansplatz: Between pagoda tents and magnificently decorated trees, it glitters and shines especially brightly here during Advent. The Christmas market of the LGBTQ* community has been held in the Glockenbachviertel since 2005. All of Munich now meets here – families, friends, guests and neighbours – regardless of their sexual orientation, because Pink Christmas is meant to be a place for everyone!
Dates:
Date follows
Opening hours:
Monday to Friday 4 pm - 10 pm
Saturday and Sunday 2 pm - 10 pm
Location: Stephansplatz Munich
In addition to the classic programme familiar from other Christmas markets – such as mulled wine, bratwurst and Christmas music – there are a few special features here: For example, every evening in the weeks before Christmas there are pop shows, travesty artists and Munich celebrities such as Grand Prix legend Johnny Logan, pop star Patrick Lindner and Lord Mayor Dieter Reiter. And those who don't like mulled wine can simply meet at the prosecco bar afterwards.
The information for 2025 will be announced at www.pink-christmas.de!
