Germany's largest design event takes place every year in Munich. It includes around 200 events, most of which are free of charge and open for anyone to attend.
MCBW, with its 60 creative spots throughout the city and over 60,000 visitors, is a fixed event in the calendar for the most important pioneers and artists, but also up-and-coming creative talents on the international design scene. Many of them also attend exhibitions, conferences, workshops and tours given by companies in Munich.
Under the motto "How to create with nature", the 2024 event took place from 11-19 May. With this, the MCBW wants to show what design as a discipline can achieve and thus move society. The individual events can be experienced interactively and flexibly, for example the MCBW Designwalk, a curated city tour that invites visitors on a design discovery tour. The Public Space, where you can experience a swing installation curated especially for the MCBW, is definitely worth a visit.
It is also worth knowing that many events, such as the Design Talk or the ProGlove event evening, will be held in English, which means that the Munich Creative Business Week will once again show its international side this year.
