Were you born in Munich or did you move here?
I was born here. My mother was a real Fraunhofer.

In which district are you at home?
In the Brienner Quartier – I have a boutique there – and in the Gärtnerplatzviertel – that's where my grandparents lived.

What does Munich taste like?
It depends on the weather – hearty in the beer garden or sophisticated at the Käfer restaurant.

What does Munich sound like?
Wonderful concerts at the Residenz or open air events at the Königsplatz.

What does Munich smell like?
I love the freshly mown Englischer Garten (English Garden)!

Munich is the only city where ...
… you occasionally see a naked person! Often on the Isar.

Which Munich lady should everyone know?
The actress Uschi Glas.

Your favourite Bavarian word?
"Pfui di" (bye bye/bless you) – or something like that.

The most attractive building in the city?
The Frauenkirche (Our Lady’s Church).

The catchiest Munich song?
„In München steht ein Hofbräuhaus!“

Isar or Eisbach?
Isar – the wetlands are so beautiful!

Beer garden or bar?
My favourite is "Bar München". You have to try their fried potatoes!

Philharmonic orchestra or brass band music?
Philharmonic. I like gentle tones.

A weekend in the mountains or by the lake?
Down to Lake Tegernsee of course!

The best place in Munich to impress visitors?
The Viktualienmarkt (food market) with its colourful hustle and bustle.

What is the best place in Munich for an after-work beer?
The Kaisergarten restaurant in Schwabing.

The best place in Munich for a romantic date?
The "Pageou" restaurant run by the chef Ali Güngörmüş.

At the hairdresser!
