The two-hour Münchner Kindl guided tour in the quiet evening hours is a real insider tip. The Kindl is closely connected with the city's history and therefore is not stingy with stories and anecdotes about its favourite places in Munich's old town.
The tour starts at the town hall on Marienplatz. An official tour guide of the City of Munich will take on the role of the Münchner Kindl for you. From Munich's central square you will walk over to the Viktualienmarkt. The Hofbräuhaus and Alter Peter are further stops on the tour.
On the way through Munich's Old Town, there are various depictions of the Münchner Kindl, which help the guests of the tour to learn everything about the origin and meaning of the small monk figure in Munich's coat of arms. Even many a Munich resident can learn something.
Towards the end of the tour a little surprise awaits the participants. There is a little scene in the Munich Glockenspiel that can only be seen in the evening. But more will not be revealed for the time being...
