Guided tour for groups: Schleissheim and Lustheim Palace

Schleissheim and Lustheim Palace

The palaces of Schleissheim at the gates of Munich are ideal for a half-day trip – best with an official City of Munich guide.

This tour is a combination of the “Schleissheim Palace Tour“ and the “Lustheim Palace Tour“. Enjoy the whole variety of the Schleissheim castle complex.

Elector Max Emanuel, who was also called the „Blue Elector“, hoped to receive imperial dignity. He wanted to show his status with this complex, which is one of Germany's most magnificent baroque buildings.

You will also see the world-famous early Meissen porcelain collection of Professor Ernst Schneider, second in importance only to the Dresden collection.
