Munich and sport – a dream team. The new film from the Munich University of Television and Film shows that it is not only the right locations that are important, but above all the mentality of the people of Munich: tolerant and helpful.
An international bowling team, "The Unbelievabowls", comes to Munich to train here. The four of them have a particular secret of success – they don't practice in bowling alleys like the competition, but on the streets.
In their opinion, Munich is one of the few places in the world where this is really possible: Philippos Kegelus, Jamal, Pablo and Bo show spectacular throws and tricks on the cycle paths along the Isar river, the beer benches on the beer garden at the Chinesischer Turm, the Eisbachwelle in the Englischer Garten or in the Allianz Arena.
The support and euphoria of the locals is a reason for the Unbelievabowls to think even bigger, and so they plan the most incredible throw of all times: from the Olympic Tower down. Of course, the Munich fans will also be there to help them.
"The team has created a film that attracts our attention in a charming way and provides a truly loving view of the city as a travel destination and center of life."
The commercial from 2019 is already the third joint project of Munich Tourism and the University of Television and Film. It was directed by Diego Oliva. The film was produced by Philip Hofmann and Jonas Lembeck, Le Hof Media GbR.
The project "The Hardest Job" from the collaboration of 2017 can be found here. In 2018 the spot "Club of Cool Cities" proved that Munich is simply cool.
